Advanced Serial Port Terminal allows you to send any text file to the remote computer or device over serial port connection. However, it is the remote host, which will be responsible for this file receiving.
To facilitate the transfer, you are required to download and install software called 'RS232 Serial Line File Transfer', this may have a suffix ‘Fast PC-PC’ also to the software name.
To send ASCII file over serial port connection, do the following:
I'd like to send the text content of a file over the serial port, over PuTTY. I know that extensions exists such as Xmodem and Zmodem, but they all use some checksum protocols to confirm that a file is sent over the port. However, my requirements are more simple. File transfer; MobaXterm includes some useful clients for transferring files. Ftp (File Transfert Protocol). Sftp/scp (File Transfert using a secure crypted SSH connection). Rcp (Copy files to/from remote computers using the rsh protocol). Wget (download files through http/ftp protocol with enhanced settings).
1. Select 'File' –> 'New session' from main menu to invoke 'New session' dialog.
2. Set the required connection settings to match the ones of the remote COM port.
3. Click 'Open/download-avatar-game-for-ppsspp.html. ' button.
4. Select 'File' –> 'Open port' to open the local serial port if it is not opened yet:

6. 'Open' dialog will be invoked where you can select TXT file to send:
