K Camp’s Debut album is called “Only Way is Up” and he is rising to the top. Literally. I’ll warn you that I’m a HUGE fan of his but I promise not to be biased. “Only Way is Up” starts off with a childhood flashback track “Change (Feat. Jeremih). I think Jeremih was the perfect choice for this song. His voice blends so nicely with the beat and compliments K Camp’s as well. K Camp reminisces about his most memorable times as a youngster. He shares various situations that have molded him to the man he is today.

When you get called up to XXL's Freshman Class, and snag verses from T.I., Snoop, and Bun B for your debut album, it's probably hard not to feel a little cocky. So Atlanta rapper K Camp just runs with it, rolling out braggadocious rhymes over.
“47th and Lloyd, first time I got jumped on the porch. Hit the oldest one with the one, two, bink, bink. Other one ran up, left him right there on the porch.”
K Camp has a handful of features and they are all perfect picks in their own respect. From my album favorites “Who Am I (Feat. Yo Gotti)” and “B*tches N That Coupe (Feat Bun B) to an instant classic “Gin and Juice” sample “Rolling (Feat. Snoop Dogg). K Camp was not shy of sharing the mic with a few hip-hop greats and if you listen in you will see why.
One of the main reasons I respect K Camp is because he doesn’t forget about the ladies. I love a rapper who can switch it up. Give me those hard trap beats but I still like to slow it down when I get ready for a night on the town.K Camp teases with just the right amount of both. “Comfortable” was the song of the summer! #ThankTheLadies! My favorite singy rap (Yes, I made that up) song is “This Way”. K Camp has very relatable and real songs which is why the streets respect him. #YouCantBeALiarAndARealNigga
“Something bout her got me feeling this way, out here hustlin’ I’m just tryna maintain.”
The closing track “Above Water (Feat. Marian Mereba)” seals the deal. Although, I’ve never heard of Marian I instantly became a fan. Her voice oozes from the speakers while laying down the law. “I keep my head above water, these niggas scared to hustle harder” #NothinButTheTruth! K Camp never fails to give us songs that are inspirational, motivational, and realer than most.
“Alotta niggas saying that they are the realest…but if you are the realest who the hell am I?”
